Arrests

Lexi Jo Hamilton, 21 of Weatherford, was arrested for a Custer County warrant. Michael David Driver, 42 of Weatherford,

Michael David Driver, 42 of Weatherford, was arrested on suspicion of possession of controlled dangerous substance, and unlawful possession of paraphernalia.

Accidents

The Weatherford Police Department responded to an accident on West Main. Chavez-Juarez Irasema was driving a 2020 GMC. Irasema was traveling westbound in the inside lane attempting to change into the outside lane in the 200 block West Main. Virginia Warkentin of Corn was driving a 2018 Toyota was traveling Westbound in the inside lane stopped behind a vehicle attempting to turn south at the intersection of 8th and Main. Irasema checked mirrors to make sure he could change lanes safely. Irasema did not see the 2018 Toyota and struck the rear passenger side bumper with the driver side front bumper of the 2020 GMC. Both Irasema and Warkentin were wearing seatbelts, and no injuries were sustained.

The Weatherford Police Department responded to an accident on the 800 block of East Davis. Bryson Ramirez was driving a 2019 Ford, traveling on the East Bound lane of 800 block East Davis. Kent Butler was driving a 2008 Nissan, Butler was stopped in the inside lane of East Davis about to turn left onto Crimson. Ramirez did not see the 2008 Nissan and struck the rear bumper of the Nissan with the front bumper of the 2019 Ford. Both people were wearing seatbelts. Ramirez sustained injuries and was transported to the hospital.

The Weatherford Police Department responded to an accident on West Main. Debra Ann Davis-Wootton was driving a 2011 Buick westbound in the outside lane of the 300 block of West Main. Davis-Wootton struck the curb on the north side of the 300 block of West Main, and continued west until the vehicle struck the ground along with a highway sign. The Buick continued west and struck the ground again on the north side of the 400 block of West Main. Davis Wootton veered left and departed the roadway on the south side of the 400 block of West Main.

The Weatherford Police Department responded to an accident on East Main. James Willison was driving a 2020 Toyota traveling Westbound in the East bound one way lane of the 1100 block of East Main. Willison swerved right and struck the island barrier which divides the eastbound and westbound lanes of he 1100 block of East Main. Willison advised he struck the center median and pulled into the parking lof of 925 block of East Main to change his tire. The front passenger tire of the vehicle struck the concrete and brick island barrier in the 1100 block of East Main.
