An open forum to discuss conditions and improvements for the walking trails at Crowder Lake University Park is planned for Tuesday, January 19.
The park, operated by Southwestern Oklahoma State University, is located 7 miles south of Weatherford.
Park Director Paul Hummel is hosting the zoom forum and will share what the park currently offers, and public input is requested to help make plans for the future of the trails.
The input is being requested for a federal grant application through the Oklahoma Parks Department. Grant funds are being requested to resurface the trails.

Crowder Lake University Park is open to the public for camping, fishing and boating. The park also has the one-mile-long interpretive nature trail.
