Weatherford’s batters only managed 1 hit in Tuesday’s 4-0 loss to Binger-Oney.
Binger was able to shut down the Lady Eagle bats with 12 strikeouts and only 1 walk.
Binger scored a run in the top of the first on at steal of home to take the 1-0 lead.
In the top of the third, Binger added a run on a solo home run over the wall in left field to make it 2-0.
Binger added 2 runs in the top of the fourth on an error, making it 4-0.
For Weatherford, Camry Teasley reached base on an error in the bottom of the first, but was unable to score.
Teasley walked to lead off the bottom of the fourth, but was left on base.
Autumn Phillips got Weatherford’s lone hit in the bottom of the seventh, with a single to left field.
The non-district loss dropped Weatherford to 14-7 overall.
