During a Custer County Commission meeting Monday, the commissioners discussed what their crews have been working on.

“We had a good week last week. We chip-sealed eight miles of road and we hope to get another five or six miles done this week,” District 2 Commissioner Bruce Walker said.

District 1 Commissioner Wade Anders said his crew has been busy.

“We’ve been working on a tinhorn and it should be done by the end of the week,” District 3 Commissioner Lyle Miller said his crew completed a milestone before the fall.

“We completed our chip seal for the year Thursday. I’m tickled to get where we got. Now we are trying to catch up on everything else,” In other news, Jordan Nell said this year’s Custer County Free Fair was a success.

“Our county fair went very well and we are moving on to the next thing, trying to catch up,” Nell said.
