County approves CARES Act resolution

The Custer County Board of Commissioners approved a resolution relating to the CARES Act and Coronavirus Relief Fund during its regular meeting Monday morning.

The resolution states the county’s intent to pursue funds from the CARES Act and Coronavirus Relief and Fund and County Clerk Melissa Graham is responsible for filing everything.

In other news, the board approved the 2021 REAP Grant application for Custer County Conservation District 88. The application for $7,858.50 would be used to purchase a rotary bush cutter as the district’s is wearing down.

The board approved an interlocal agreement between District 2 and the City of Weatherford to chip seal a parking lot in Kiwanis Park. District 2 will be providing the labor while Weatherford is providing the rock and oil.

The board approved resolutions to surplus and dispose of a copier for the treasurer’s office. The equipment was junked. The board also approved an ingress application for District 2.

The board approved blanket purchase orders, purchase orders for payment and payroll. The board approved the publication sheet for the county financial statement and estimate of needs for the 2020-21 fiscal year.

The board received a brief update on the courthouse window project. All the glass was delivered Monday morning. There was no unforeseen business.
