The Custer County Board of Commissioners is set to approve or disapprove a petition to foreclose the right to reopen portions of a street in Custer County during its regular meeting Monday morning.

The commission agenda lists the street portion as being between tracts H-1 and T-1 in the northeast quarter of section 25, township 15 north, range 15 W.I.M.

According to the County Assessor’s Office, the road sits just west of First Street in Thomas.

The board will approve or disapprove a contract with Dietz Welding and Bridge Construction, Inc., who will be doing the current bridge project in District 2 along SH 33, southwest of Thomas.

The board will approve or disapprove an annual agreement with Image Net. The board may approve a notice of sealed bids being taken for two trucks in District 1. The board also will discuss and possibly take action on a burn ban for the county.

The board will approve or disapprove of monthly officers’ reports, alcohol beverage certificates and appropriations. The board also will approve or disapprove blanket purchase orders, purchase orders for payment and minutes for the previous months.

The board will approve or disapprove of any applications for utility, pipeline or installation permits for crossing roads or using county right-of-ways. The board also may receive an update on the courthouse window project.

The board will reconvene into the meeting of the Custer County Law Enforcement Center Trust, where the trustees will approve minutes for the last meeting, receive a trust update report, discuss the consent agenda and then receive any unforeseen business. The trust then will reconvene into the county commission meeting.

The commission board will open the floor to an unforeseen business before adjourning.
