The candidate filing period for Custer County Fair Board opens 8 a.m. Monday and closes 4 p.m. Friday at the Custer County Clark’s office in the Custer County Courthouse.
Candidates will be filing for a 3-year fair board seat representing their district. Adeline Enochs currently fills the District 1 seat. Jennifer Payne currently fills the District 2 seat. Jay Baker currently fills the District 3 seat.
The Custer County Clerk’s office is open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. It is located in the Custer County Courthouse, 657 B St. in Arapaho.
If more than one candidate applies for a seat, the election will be 10 a.m. February 9 at the district’s county shop. The election will be a secret ballot conducted by qualified electors of each district.
