A new, large for sale sign has been installed at King’s Gift and Flower Shop building at the southwest corner of Main Street and Washington Avenue in Weatherford.
Jason Little with CBRE commercial real estate in Oklahoma said the King’s Gift and Flowers building and some 1.64 acres are on the market for $1,750,000. Little said Sandra Ross, owner of King’s, has decided to retire, close the longtime flower shop and sell the property.
Little said the property would typically sell to a developer or national chain desiring interstate accessibility. He said there has been interest in the property recently as well as over the past year. He said more adjacent land would likely be available for sale.
CBRE also has another parcel of land available for sale, development or rent adjacent to Taco Bell in Weatherford which is adjacent to Sears in the Weatherford Shopping Center. He said Weatherford has remained a vibrant market because of its population and access to I-40.
