The man who pleaded guilty to larceny from a person during an incident at Jiffy Trip now knows his conditions of probation.

Brent Michael Schroeder was sentenced to 4 years of probation after pleading guilty for his role in the robbery of the convenience store cashier at gunpoint April 19, 2019, stealing about $90 in cash and fleeing the scene.

Schroeder, 21 of Okeene, received the probation sentence earlier this month after attending and successfully completing a delayed sentencing program for young adults.

As part of Schroeder’s probation, he must: submit to random urinalysis testing at the direction of the probation office; complete 120 hours of community service with a nonprofit organization and provide written proof of completion to his probation officer by September 1, 2021; write a letter of apology to the victim by January 30, 2021, through the Custer County District Attorney’s Office and provide the letter to his probation officer; and maintain full-time employment or be a full-time student and provide written proof to his probation officer.

Along with adhering to those requirements, Schroeder must pay court costs, a $1,000 fine and $200 worth of fees, $90 restitution and $40 per month to the district attorney’s office for 2 years.
