Kiowa County resident dies from COVID-19

There are currently no active cases in Kiowa County as one recovered, but the other case died in Mountain View, according to the latest report from the Oklahoma State Department of Health (OSDH).

Since the pandemic began, there have been 371 deaths reported due to COVID-19. Of those deaths, Caddo County has 10 deaths, Greer County has seven deaths, Jackson County has three deaths and Major and Kiowa County each have a death.

Statewide, there are currently 2,769 active cases of COVID-19.

Custer County has 11 active cases. Clinton has seven active cases and Weatherford has four active cases.

Beckham County has two active cases, both in Elk City. OSDH reported Blaine County has three active cases, where Watonga showed an active case and Geary showed an active case, according to OSDH.

Caddo County has seven active cases. Anadarko and Lookeba each have two active cases. Apache, Gracemont and Hinton each have an active case.

Dewey County has an active case in Vici.

Greer County has two active cases in Mangum.

Jackson County has four active cases in Altus.

Washita County has an active case in Foss.
