Library reopens with precautions

  • Leanna Cook/WDN As part of the Weatherford Library’s COVID-19 safety protocols, computers have been shut down to allow proper spacing between users. In addition, computer time has been limited from 1 hour three times a day to 30 mintues three times a day. These restrictions can be overridden by the librarians for those in serious need.
The Weatherford Public Library, which is part of the Western Plains Library System, reopened its doors last Friday with new precautions against COVID-19 to protect its patrons and staff. WPLS is requesting patrons wear masks inside the building. The staff has been given masks to wear when working with patrons as well.
