Porch Party set for Saturday at Heritage Park

The City of Weatherford will host a Porch Party 6 p.m. at Heritage Park, across the street from Weatherford City Hall.

The Jake Bowers Band will perform at the event until 11 p.m. Along with the concert there will be food trucks and games. There also will be a ribbon cutting for the Bulldogs and Friends Dog Park. The ribbon cutting will be 6 p.m.

“Our whole emphasis from the beginning was to try and draw attention to Route 66,” Mayor Mike Brown said when talking about the reasoning behind the party.
