State legislators still getting pay raises despite budget cuts

Amidst a budget shortfall at the State of Oklahoma, state legislators will be getting a 35.6-percent pay raise this coming November. This includes Sen. Brent Howard, R-Altus, who represents Weatherford, and either Democrat Juan Garcia or Republican Anthony Moore, whichever one wins the election in November.
