A Weatherford man faces a charge of possession of firearm following a former felony conviction.

Jarred Reed Norfolk allegedly was living in an apartment with Airick William Fuller who attempted to sell his friend from jail two rifles.

Fuller was arrested in late October for allegedly attempting to sell the two firearms.

In a separate case, Norfolk has been accused of knowingly being in possession of both firearms at the residence where Fuller and Norfolk formerly resided. Norfolk allegedly knew the firearms were hidden in a hot water closet located in the kitchen of the apartment.

Norfolk, as of press time Thursday, has not been arrested, but a warrant has been issued.

Court records indicate the friend Fuller was trying to sell the guns to brought the information to police claiming Fuller had attempted to sell him an AR-15 with two magazines containing green tip ammo for $800. Fuller also attempted to sell his friend a 223 Caliber hunting rifle for $200-$300. The friend did not touch either of the rifles which were shown to him, according to the probable cause affidavit issued by the Custer County District Court September 11.

Police later got information regarding where Fuller had been staying and brought a search warrant to the address which Fuller and Norfolk resided. While police were searching the apartment they found several different types of ammo along with both guns Fuller was attempting to sell, according to the affidavit.

Fuller allegedly took the guns from a resident who lived next to his girlfriend. The resident told police there was no sign of forced entry, but he did have a spare key hidden outside. The victim was able to provide police a serial number for one of the guns. Police matched the serial number with what the victim told them, according to court records.

Fuller was charged with possession of a firearm after former conviction. A felony motion docket has been scheduled for January 25.
