As of press time Friday, the results of the 2020 presidential election are still being counted and Democratic candidate Joe Biden is leading the Electoral College vote with 264, compared to Republican candidate President Donald Trump with 214.

Fix states still have not been called for either candidate. However, there is some confusion regarding whether Arizona has been called. The other five states are: Alaska, Georgia, Nevada, North Carolina and Pennsylvania.

Alaska has 50 percent of the votes in and President Trump has garnered 62.1 percent of the votes and Biden has garnered 33.5 percent of the votes. Alaska has three electoral votes.

Arizona has 90 percent of the votes in and Biden has garnered 49.9 percent of the votes and President Trump has garnered 48.6 percent of the votes. Arizona has 11 electoral votes.

Georgia has 99 percent of the votes in and President Trump has 49.4 percent of the votes and Biden has 49.4 percent of the votes. Georgia has 16 electoral votes.

Nevada has 87 percent of the votes in and Biden has 49.7 percent of the votes and Trump has 48.1 percent of the votes. Nevada has six electoral votes.

North Carolina has 99 percent of the votes in and President Trump has 50.1 percent of the votes and Biden has 48.7 percent of the votes. North Carolina has 15 electoral votes.

Pennsylvania has 98 percent of the votes in and Biden has 49.5 percent of the votes and President Trump has 49.3 percent of the votes. Pennsylvania has 20 electoral votes.

News outlets across the country have reported the Trump campaign has asked for recounts in Wisconsin and Michigan, which each went for Biden.

Lawsuits have been filed in Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and regarding how the votes have been counted.

Reports also have surfaced North Carolina may not be fully counted until November 12.

The Associated Press has called Arizona for Biden, however other news outlets have not.

If Biden wins Arizona and Nevada, the lawsuits the Trump administration has threatened to file will not help president Trump’s case.
