Stephen Owen Rees, 72-year-old Corn resident, was born October 28, 1948, in Redwood City, California, to LaVere and June (Noris) Rees and passed away, Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at Weatherford Regional Hospital.
No services are scheduled for Stephen.
Stephen was raised and attended school in Redwood, California, and later graduated from Sequoyah High School in 1966. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Butte College in Oroville, California.
Stephen worked as a cardiac tech in a hospital. August 11, 1984, he married Doreen Worthington in Fort Klamath, Oregon. They moved to Corn, in 2011. Stephen enjoyed fishing, restoring fire arms, church life, and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include: his wife, Doreen Rees, of their home in Corn; two sons, Michael Rees, of Oklahoma City, and Nathan Rees, of Arlington, Washington; one daughter, Jessie Rees, of Willits, California; one grandchild; and two great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Stanley and Kyle.
