The Corn Bible Crusaders faced the Tipton Tigers Friday night at home.
Corn Bible received the ball first. The Crusaders ran the ball 25 yards before they turned it over on downs and gave the ball to the Tigers on the 50 yard line. The Tigers ran the ball into the end zone to score a touchdown with 8:10 remaining in the first quarter, the two-point conversion was no good putting them up 6-0.
Corn Bible turned the ball over again and Tipton went on and scored two more times before the second quarter to give them a 22- 0 advantage against the Crusaders.
Corn Bible’s Joshua Clayton received the ball on kickoff and returned it for 65 yards to put the Crusaders on the board, they also would complete the 2-point conversion. The score was 46-8 at halftime, Tipton Tigers on top.
The whole second half was back and forth but no team scored the entire second half. The Tigers would walk away with a 46-8 victory against the Crusaders.
