The winners of the Weatherford Daily News football contest for the first week were announced Tuesday.
Keller Cantrell, of Weatherford, took first place, picking 21 of 23 games correctly, missing the tiebreaker by 1 point and receiving 50 “football bucks.”
Larry Adler, of Weatherford, came in second, picking 20 of 23 games correctly, missing the tiebreaker by 1 point and receiving 20 “football bucks” for second place.
Leighann Cantrell, of Weatherford, will receive 10 “football bucks” for third place, picking 20 of 23 games correctly and missing the tiebreaker by 12 points.
