The winners of the Weatherford Daily News football contest for the first week were announced Tuesday.
Lindsay Roof, of Weatherford, took first place, picking 20 of 23 games correctly. Wilson missed the tiebreaker by 52 points. With the first-place win, Wilson will receive 50 “football bucks.”
Keller Cantrell, of Weatherford, came in second, picking 19 of 23 games correctly. Segal missed the tiebreaker by 43 points. Segal will receive 20 “football bucks” for second place.
Cheryl Nix, of Edmond, will receive 10 “football bucks” for third place. Adler picked 19 of 23 games correctly. Adler missed the tiebreaker by 57 points.
