SENTINEL — The Hydro-Eakly Bobcats baseball team competed in the Sentinel tournament this past weekend and finished as the runner-up.
Friday, Hydro-Eakly played Olustee-Eldorado in the first game and won 17-8. Saturday, the Bobcats faced a familiar foe in Arapaho-Butler and won 8-7 in an 11-inning game. With that win, Hydro-Eakly advanced to the championship game and took on Fletcher. In the championship game, Hydro-Eakly lost 4-0.
Hydro-Eakly 17, Olustee-Eldorado 8
Hydro-Eakly scored a run in every inning this game and scored 5 runs in the top of the first and never really looked back. This game only went 6 innings and Olustee-scored 6 runs in the bottom of the third inning. Hydro-Eakly threw five pitches in this game and Carter Tharp had the most strikeouts with three of them. Tanner Wilburn had 3 hits and scored 2 runs.
Trenton Coe had a hit, an RBI and scored 2 runs.
Carson Propps scored 3 runs and 3 hits and had an RBI.
Paxton Price scored 5 runs, hit 4 hits and 3 RBIs.

Hydro-Eakly 8, Arapaho-Butler 7
In this game, Arapaho-Butler had 16 hits and Hydro-Eakly had 11 hits. However, Arapaho-Butler had 2 errors and Hydro-Eakly had no errors. These two teams have played three times this season and Hydro-Eakly has won two of the three meetings so far.
Kaden Harris pitched 8 innings for Hydro-Eakly. Harris scored a run and had a hit.

This game was super quiet until the bottom of the sixth inning when Fletcher scored all its runs in this inning. Gore pitched the entire way through and he had 10 strikeouts.
Coe, Propps and Gore each had a hit in this game. Hydro-Eakly falls to 8-6 on the season.
