Terriers to begin basketball season soon

The Thomas-Fay-Custer Terriers basketball team will begin play in less than a month, depending on when football season ends a majority of the basketball players who play basketball, also play football.

The coach of the Terriers is Elijah Zoschke. Zoschke has coached for six seasons with the Terriers. He teaches sophomore and junior English as well as an assistant football coach, basketball and assistant peewee track coach.

Last season, Thomas went to the area tournament, but lost to Alex 62-35 in the first round of area. They finished with a record of 16-12.

The Terriers have some really good athletes on their team coming back from last season such as seniors Noah Rainwater and Aden Kelly.

The first scheduled game is, 8 p.m. December 1 at Seiling, but may get postponed depending on how far Thomas football advances in the playoffs.
