The Weatherford Lady Eagles volleyball team is riding a 7-game win streak as they defeated Elgin 3-0 Thursday.

Weatherford won the first set 25- 15. They won the second set 25-17 and won the third set 25-15. Coach Sandi Barr said she tried something new in the third set.

“A win always builds confidence,” Barr said. “The first two sets were normal but in the third set I tried a new lineup and moved some people to some new places.”

Barr said they are playing well, but there are always things to improve on.

“We still need to improve our timing on blocking and closing the block,” Barr said. “We are doing better at coverage but still have a few things to work on there too.”

Weatherford played a game against Corn Bible Academy Monday evening and for more information on that game, read Wednesday’s edition of the Weatherford Daily News.
