Class of 1971 celebrates 50th high school reunion

The Weatherford High School graduating class of 1971 celebrated its 50th reunion during the weekend of October 22-23 in Weatherford.

Friday evening, the class gathered for the Clinton v. Weatherford football game at SWOSU’s Milam Stadium. Twenty classmates and 15 guests attended this event in the Skyview Suite at the Pioneer Cellular Event Center.

Saturday night, the activities were centered at the Best Western Plus Hotel in Weatherford, hosted by classmate and owner Pam and Joe Martin.

Twenty-five classmates and 17 guests were able to attend. During this evening there were many stories told and memories remade in addition to a special tribute to the 28 known classmates who have passed far too early.
