A long-time customer of First National Bank and Trust Co. of Weatherford won the gift basket during its recent customer appreciation event.
Teresa Wardell has been going to FNB five days a week, an average of 50 weeks a year, for 44 years as part of her daily deposit routine for the Weatherford Daily News. That’s a grand total of 11,000 visits.
Wardell said she was tickled to win the prize after being a customer for so long.
The basket was filled with fall items such as pillow and decorative plants, gift cards and other fun items.
Wardell is a familiar face to local residents due to her long-time employment at the WDN and weekday run to local banks.
She also is a member of the Weatherford High School Class of 1979 and SWOSU Class of 1983.
