This year’s Chris-giving promotion is back and better than ever.
Readers may notice a slight change to print edition of the November 10 edition of the Weatherford Daily News — scented ink.
The scented ink will be featured to launch the Chris-Giving promotion to celebrate the scene from Elf where Buddy the elf loves maple syrup on everything including spaghetti.
The“buttered maple” sent also will be in honor of “Elf the Musical” at Southwest Playhouse.
Also, starting November 10, local shoppers can register for a chance to win at participating businesses. Drawings will be every Friday and deliveries the following “Merry Monday,” with the last delivery being December 20.
This year’s Chris-giving boxes have been rebranded as “Buddy Boxes.” Each one is filled with Elf-branded merchandise, Christmas movies, hot chocolate, cookies mixes, holiday decorations and plenty of Christmas cheer.
In honor of SWPH’s production of “Elf the Musical,” the WDN Chrisgiving boxes are being rebranded as “Buddy Boxes.” Each one is filled with Elfbranded merchandise, plus more than $150 of gifts and specialty foods.
