MCLOUD — Weatherford’s slow-pitch softball team went 1-2 in Wednesday’s district tournament in McLoud and was eliminated from postseason play. The Lady Eagles won the tournament opener against Little Axe, 9-5, before dropping two games to tournament host McLoud, 15-0 in the first game, and 15-6 in the second game.

District Tournament HYDRO — Hydro-Eakly softball advanced to the regional tournament after winning the district tournament this past week. The Lady Bobcats defeated Riverside, 9-0, in the tournament opener, before defeating Amber-Pocasset twice, 13-2 and 22-0.

District Tournament HYDRO — Hydro-Eakly’s baseball team won all three games of the district tournament to advance to regionals this coming week. Hydro-Eakly defeated Oklahoma Christian Academy, 12-4, Verden, 10-2, Thursday and Oklahoma Christian Academy a second time, 11-0, Friday.
