WRH CFO Georganna Buss presented the November business report presented.

“The operating costs year to date were $789,703 and we had a net profit of $258,777. We did get approval by First National Bank to get our paycheck protection loans paid off which was about $1.5 million. The loan will be reflected in December’s financial report. Outpatient wise, we were not as busy as last year and inpatient wise we were busier. Radiology is down compared to last year along with physical therapy and departments which fall into the outpatient categories,” Buss said. WRH CEO Brian Denton gave his report for the month of November.

“COVID-19 testing has not slowed down. We expect testing to continue to be busy. We also are seeing a higher number in positive cases. I am proud to report more ventilators have arrived to WRH, there were seven devices sent to the hospital which was part of the federal response due to COVID-19,” Denton said.

Denton also said ICU beds are hard to come by, and said some patients have been sent to Nebraska. He also said only about 30 ICU beds remain open in Oklahoma as of Monday.

Denton also talked about the financial report for WRH.

“It was a bad month financially, but we’re coming off of a strong month in October. The blip has to do with volume we’re going to see the month of November balance out,” Denton said.
