Local, state and federal officials were on hand to participate in the ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the opening of the long-awaited Weatherford Police and Communication Center Friday morning.
U.S. Sen. James Lankford, made a guest appearance at the ceremony, joined by state representatives, city officials and local residents for the ribbon-cutting and a tour of the facility.
