City to purchase new fire pumper
Weatherford City Commissioners unanimously approved the purchase of a new $1.1 million Sutphen Corp. pumper firetruck for the fire department to replace its current 2001 American LaFrance.
Weatherford Fire Chief Mike Karlin said the truck will take 3648 months to deliver because fire truck manufacturers became backlogged during COVID-19 and are still trying to catch up.
