Following President Joe Biden’s Approval of Gov. Kevin Stitt’s request for a disaster declaration, the Custer County Board of Commissioner will approve or disapprove a disaster emergency proclamation for the county.

This is the first step to receive assistance following the recent weather event. Information on the emergency declaration can be found at www.fema.gov/disaster/3555. This is the second FEMA declaration in Oklahoma in 6 months following the disaster declaration for October ice storm.

The board will approve or disapprove a resolution to rescind another resolution regarding the Oklahoma Department of Transportation revolving fund.

December 21, the board approved a resolution which opted District 3 out of the ODOT County Road Machinery Revolving Fund. The new resolution will rescind the one passed last year and allow District 3 to utilize the fund.

The board also will approve or disapprove another resolution for District 2 to utilize the ODOT revolving fund.

The board will approve or disapprove payroll, purchase orders and purchase orders for payment. The board will approve or disapprove applications for utility, pipeline or installation permits for crossing roads or using county right-of-ways.

The board will open the floor to any unforeseen business before adjourning.
