Even before he began his career, Dr. Kuykendall had experience in the auditory sphere because of familial connections. Dr. Kuykendall’s grandfather opened a hearing care office in Enid in 1974.

“This is something I have grown up around; this is something I know from the practical side of learning from my family but also from having the opportunity to earn my doctorate degree in audiology from the University of Oklahoma,” Dr. Kuykendall said.

Dr. Kuykendall graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2019, and he is excited to help the people of western Oklahoma. “Having the opportunity to have my own private practice in a rural community in western Oklahoma and to be in Weatherford is such a blessing,” he said.

Current treatments at Western Oklahoma Hearing include diagnostic hearing evaluation and ringing in ears (tinnitus). “I’m optimistic to be tapping into vestibular evaluations in the future,” Dr. Kuykendall said.

Hours of operation for the business are Monday-Thursday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Friday 9 a.m. to noon,
