Fire Notes

Saturday

The Weatherford Fire Department responded to a local business for a subject who hit his head. The patient was transported to the hospital for further treatment and evaluation.

The Weatherford Fire Department responded to a single vehicle rollover near the intersection of 2420 and 950 Road. The driver was alone and out of the vehicle upon arrival. No one was critically injured.

Wednesday

The Weatherford Fire department responded to a call for a person who had passed out. Upon arrival the patient was sitting on the floor and was very pale. WFD assisted the Emergency Medical Service. WFD assisted in checking vital signs. The patient advised he did not want to be sent to the emergency room and would have someone take him there. WFD gathered patient information while EMS got a refusal form signed.

Thursday

The Weatherford Fire department responded to a residence for a person who was feeling dizzy and needed to be transported to the hospital. The patient was sitting on a couch when arrived. Caretakers advised the patient was coherent at times but other times was incoherent and had been throwing up. The patient also had a large bump on the back of her head. Firefighters assisted the Lifeguard with gathering vital signs and patient packaging. WFD then loaded them into the ambulance for transportation to the hospital.

The Weatherford Fire Department responded to a call for a person who had fallen and was having severe back pain. Upon arrival the patient was sitting in a chair and said she wanted to be sent to a hospital in El Reno. WFD assisted the patient onto the cot and into the ambulance. Emergency Medical Service advised they needed no further assistance. WFD gathered patient information and returned to service.

The Weatherford Fire Department responded to a call for a person with high blood pressure and chest pain. Upon arrival the patient was sitting in a chair and WFD was advised she had been given nitro and it had not helped. WFD assisted loading the patient onto the cot before checking vitals and loading her into the ambulance. WFD then gathered patient information and returned to service.

The Weatherford Fire Station responded to a residence for a person who was having trouble breathing. At the scene, the patient was sitting in the garage waiting for Emergency Medical Service to arrive. The patient showed signs of troubled breathing. Firefighters then assisted the lifeguard with patient assessment and gathering vital signs. WFD then loaded the patient onto the cot and into the ambulance for transport to the hospital. WFD then went back into service.
