Southwestern Oklahoma State University (SWOSU) will host its 2020-21 academic year Family Day — formerly known as Parents Day — and Homecoming during the Spring 2021 semester due to ongoing restrictions in place related to the outbreak and spread of COVID-19.
More details will be announced once SWOSU is able to clearly assess spring athletic scheduling and planning.
“Both SWOSU Family Day and SWOSU Homecoming are important and much-loved annual fixtures in our institutional life,” SWOSU Assistant Vice President for Institutional Advancement Garrett King, said. “Including home athletic events as key parts of the Family Day and Homecoming schedules is not only customary, it is critical. We are hopeful that moving this year’s Family Day and Homecoming to the Spring 2021 Semester will give each event the greatest potential to attract visitors, alumni and friends into Weatherford and onto our campus.”
