The Hotel/Motel Tax Advisory Committee for the City of Weatherford will meet 4 p.m. Tuesday in Blair Hall in Weatherford City Hall.
On the agenda is an approval of minutes from August, and a review and approval of the financial report.
Weatherford Public Schools will request $7,000 for a Weatherford High School Basketball Tournament in January 2021. The anticipated visitor attendance is 500 local within 75 miles, 250 local outside of 75 miles and 25 out of state. More than 25 rooms have been requested for two nights.
Weatherford Public Schools also will request $4,000 for the Max Dipple Wrestling Tournament in December. The anticipated visitor attendance is 600 local within 75 miles, 400 local outside of 75 miles, and 25 out of state. Thirty rooms have been requested for one to two nights.
A City of Weatherford Economic Development and Tourism video accountability report will be presented. Old business and other information also will be on the agenda.
