Friday during the Weatherford City Commission meeting, the commission passed two fire grants with a unanimous 5-0 vote.
The grants include a bid package which includes items like rechargeable batteries, voice amplifiers and face pieces with mask bags. This grant is required due to the FEMA grant which was awarded to the Weatherford Fire Department.
