Neva Corene Sharry Osborn was born October 12, 1951, to Orby Lee and Lima Jean (Jackson) Sharry in Carnegie. She passed away Wednesday November 11, 2020, at her home in Eakly, at the age of 69.
Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, November 19, 2020, at Eakly Cemetery, in Eakly, with the Rev. Terry Flansburg officiating

She worked at Owl Photo, Bank of Hydro, First National Bank of Weatherford, Remington Park on the top floor and Gracemont Schools. Corene was employed with Rigid Oilfield Services at the time of her passing. She loved spending time outdoors
Corene grew up and attended school in Colony. She graduated in the Class of 1969 from Eakly High School. Corene enjoyed playing on the high school basketball team. After graduation she married Donnie Recker, and the couple had two sons, Keylin and Kyle Recker.
She loved spending time outdoors and had quite the green thumb. She enjoyed working in her flower beds and loved designing outdoor planters. In her younger years she loved to spend summer days at the lake water skiing. Corene had an adventurous spirit and enjoyed traveling.
She was a great cook. She was a master of her mother’s apple pie recipe. Corene was not afraid of hard work and could turn nearly any trash to treasure. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Eakly. Corene was a lover of life and always had a great outlook.
Survivors include: two sons, Keylin Recker and Chanda Kolb, of Eakly, and Kyle Recker and Michelle, of Weatherford; four grandchildren, Ky Recker and Britiny, of Yukon, Clayten Recker, of Carnegie, Marissa Flood, of Weatherford, and Matt Flood, of Weatherford; two great grandsons, Karson Wayne Recker and Mayson Flood; four siblings, Danny Sharry and Linda, of Eakly, Larry Sharry, of Fort Cobb Lake, Margie Hamilton and Butch, of Anadarko; twin-sister, Lorene Mills, of Hinton; special friend, Marilyn Grein, of Weatherford; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Corene was preceded in death by her parents, Orby and Lima Sharry, husband, Bob Osborn, brother, Curtis Sharry, great niece, McKyna Sharry Gracia and brother in law, Larry Mills.
Corene’s family requests donations made in lieu of flowers to the Eakly Cemetery, P.O. Box 322 Eakly, OK 73033 or to the Weatherford Food and Resource Center, 112 S 8th St., Weatherford, OK, 73096.
