Funeral services for Agnes Marie Sagebark, 58 year-old Weatherford resident, are 11 a.m. Friday, May 29, 2020 in the Columbian Memorial Presbyterian Church in Colony with Sophie Big Goose officiating. Burial will follow in Colony Indian Cemetery in Colony under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home. Wake services were Thursday, May 28, 2020, at Lockstone Funeral Home.

Agnes was born January 10, 1962, in Clinton to Victor and Lorene (Cross) Sagebark and passed away Sunday, May 24, 2020, in Weatherford.

Agnes was raised in Colony and Weatherford, attending school at Weatherford Public Schools. After high school, she moved to Seattle, Washington, in 1991. While in Seattle she met Kermit Sanderson and they moved to Hamlet, North Carolina. In 1993, Agnes attended college at Richmond Community College in Hamlet. In 2009, she moved back to Weatherford.

Agnes began working for Sugar Creek Casino from the first day they opened in Hinton. She loved cooking and enjoyed gardening, working word and number puzzles and being around her great-nieces and nephews. She will be remembered for doing everything for her family and many friends at work. Agnes was a sweet, hardworking and feisty lady.

Agnes is survived by: one brother, David Wayne Sagebark of Seattle, Washington; two sisters, Edna Grace Bowen and Joetta Maurer of Evansville, Idaho; and stepsister, Effie Beartrack of Montana.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; four brothers, Samuel, William Levi, Orren John and Derrell Gene Sagebark; and one nephew, Christopher Maurer.
