Funeral services for Amandamarie Rodriquez-Rubio, 43 year-old Weatherford resident, was 10 a.m. Friday, March 29, 2024, at New Life Church of Hydro with Mark Lumpkin officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.

Amanda was born February 1, 1981, in Lawton, to Mike and Loretta Rodriquez, and passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at St. Anthony’s Hospital at the age of 43 years, 1 month and 18 days.

Amanda was raised in Caddo County, where she attended Binger-Oney school until 1994, when the family moved to Hydro.

Amanda received her LPN in 2004 and began her career as a nurse. She worked at Maple Lawn Manor and retired from Ally Home Health. Known by many coworkers as A-Rod. She married her husband, Roland Rubio, in 2018 and made their home in Weatherford. Amanda loved being a caregiver, spending time with family, camping and attending New Life Church.

Survivors include: her husband, Roland Rubio, of their home in Weatherford; two sons, Trejoun Subia, of Weatherford, and Langden Subia, of Oklahoma City; two daughters, Lauris Subia, of Weatherford, and Sylinah Ginn and husband, Alex, of Hinton; four stepsons, Montana Diaz, of Anadarko, Santana Diaz, of Anadarko, Josiah Diaz, of Anadarko, and Deason Rubio, of Anadarko; two step-daughters, Kristen Poe and husband, Michael, of Elgin, and Keely Diaz, of Anadarko; father, Mike Rodriquez, of Weatherford; three brothers Mike Rodriquez, Jr. and wife, Jaime, of Weatherford, Chewy Rodriquez and wife, Rebecca, of Hydro, and Jeremy Rodriquez and wife, Lindsey, of Blair; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by: her mother, Loretta Rodriquez; and one sister, Cookie Rodriquez.
