Larry Lynn ‘Corky’ Goucher
Memorial service for Larry Lynn “Corky” Goucher, 66-year-old Weatherford resident, will be 10 a.m. Saturday, April 27,2024, in The Chapel of Lockstone Funeral Home with Richard Sandoval officiating. Service is under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.
Corky was bom August 31, 1957, in Oklahoma City, to Charles Vernon and Patricia Mable (Ayres) Goucher and passed away Sunday, April 21,2024 in Weatherford.
Corky was raised and attended school in Weatherford, graduating with the Class of 1976.
After high school, Corky worked many jobs. including working at 3M for 18 years and 14 years at Carl Albert doing State Testing Assessments.
He attended SWOSU where he completed a Bachelor’s Degree. Corky lived in Weatherford for 40 years, where he helped raise his children, Courtney and Jason. Corky lived a very full life — full of loving family and many loving friends who will miss him dearly.
And these three remains: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love — 1 Corinthians 13:13 NIV Survivors include: his daughter, Courtney Goucher, of Enid; four grandchildren, Phoenix, Nala, Jagger and Journey; one brother, Steve Goucher and his wife, Lisa, of Rockwall, Texas, and their children, Mallory and Brent; one sister, Carrie Murrie and her husband, Larry, of Weatherford and their daughter, Brittany.
Corky is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Patricia Goucher; one son, Jason Goucher; and one nephew, Shawn Murrie.
