The winners of the Weatherford Daily News football contest for the first week were announced Tuesday.

D.J. Bradt, of Watonga, took first place, picking 22 of 25 games correctly, missing the tiebreaker by 31 points and receiving 100 “football bucks.”

Michelle Clifton, of Weatherford, came in second, picking 22 of 25 games correctly, missing the tiebreaker by 37 points and receiving 40 “football bucks” for second place.

Lucky Roof, of Thomas, will receive 20 “football bucks” for third place, picking 21 of 25 games correctly and missing sing the tiebreaker by 28 points.

A full address is required on entry forms for them to be considered.

Football bucks expire November 30 and must be picked up as soon as possible sible and be redeemed eemed before November 30.

Due to Weatherford and Thomas-Fay-Custer not playing the tiebreaker was Corn Bible’s game against Maysville.
