MOORELAND — Hydro-Eakly softball played two games at Mooreland Tuesday, and they won a game, but also lost a game.

The Lady Bobcats first lost to Arnett 15-11, but beat Mooreland 15-5 in the second game. Hydro-Eakly improved to 7-5 and competed in the Best of the West tournament hosted by Weatherford Thursday and Friday. Hydro-Eakly will play its next game 6 p.m. Monday at Hammon.

Arnett 15, Hydro-Eakly 11

Hydro-Eakly scored a run in the top of the first inning when Dillyn Coe recorded an RBI single when she hit the ball into center field and Rees Berkey scored.

Arnett scored five runs in the bottom of the second inning and scored a run in the bottom of the third inning. Hydro-Eakly tied the

Hydro-Eakly tied the game, 6-6, in the top of the fourth inning. Lotti Parker recorded an RBI single when she hit the ball to right fielder and Coe scored. Katey Buss recorded an RBI when she hit a fly ball to second base and Paisley Vickery scored.

Kiersten Warner hit a ground ball to third base and was thrown out, but Parker scored. Kira Berkey recorded an RBI single and Emily Sublett scored. Hydro-Eakly tied the game when Kenzie Rodriquez recorded an RBI single when she hit the ball into center field.

Arnett responded by scoring four runs in the bottom of the fourth inning. Hydro-Eakly scored three runs in the top of the fifth inning by hitting two home runs. Rees Berkey hit the first one over the right field fence and York hit the other one over the left field fence on the next at bat. Parker recorded an RBI double when she hit the ball to right field and Paisley Vickery scored.

Arnett scored five runs in the bottom of the fifth inning and Hydro-Eakly trailed 15-9 going into the sixth inning.

Hydro-Eakly scored two runs but Arnett was able to make the final outs to win the game. Coe hit a sacrifice

Coe hit a sacrifice ground ball out, but both Rodriquez and Rees Berkey scored. Hydro-Eakly lost the game 15-11.

Hydro-Eakly 15, Mooreland 5

Hydro-Eakly got a win against Mooreland 15-5.

Hydro-Eakly scored runs in every inning. In the top of the first inning, Hydro-Eakly scored three runs. Vickery recorded an RBI single and Coe scored. Parker recorded an RBI single when she hit a fly ball and got to first base safely. As a result, Kylar Adams scored. Kira Berkey recorded an RBI single, as she hit the ball to left field and Vickery scored.

Mooreland scored a run in the bottom of the first inning, before Hydro-Eakly scored five runs in the top of the second inning. Rees Berkey recorded an RBI double, when she hit the ball to left field and Jaysa Slagell scored. Tessa York recorded a triple and two RBIs, when she hit the ball to center field and Warner and Rees Berkey scored. Rodriquez recorded

Rodriquez recorded an RBI single and York scored. Vickery scored a run when Buss hit a fly ball to center field. Hydro-Eakly scored

Hydro-Eakly scored five more runs in the top of the third inning. York recorded an RBI double, when she hit the ball to center field and Warner scored. Rodriquez hit a sacrifice fly ball out to center field. Rees Berkey scored from third base after tagging up.

Coe recorded an RBI double when she hit a ground ball, and she advanced to second base. As a result, York scored. Vickery recorded an RBI single off a ground ball and Coe scored. Kira Berkey recorded an RBI single when she hit the ball into right field and Vickery scored. Mooreland scored a run in the bottom of the third inning.

Hydro-Eakly scored two more runs in the top of the fourth inning. Rodriquez recorded an RBI single off a ground ball and Rees Berkey scored. Coe also recorded an RBI single off a ground ball and Kasandra Salias scored. Hydro-Eakly got the final three outs in the bottom of the fourth inning to win the game by run rule.
