Hydro-Eakly played two low-scoring games Tuesday, dropping the opener to Vici, 3-0, before bouncing back with a 2-1 win against Sterling.

Vici’s pitcher, Jill Parry, pitched a 2-hit shutout in the first game Tuesday.
Vici scored 2 runs in the top of the third on an error and a passed ball.
The run Vici scored in the top of the fourth came on a sacrifice ground out. That run put Vici ahead 3-0.
Hydro’s 2 hits were in the bottom of the first, when Kira Berkey singled, and in the bottom of the fourth, when Lotti Parker singled. Neither was able to score a run.
Hydro-Eakly 2, Sterling 1
Hydro won a pitcher’s duel, 2-1, in Tuesday’s second game.
While Sterling grabbed the early lead, Hydro used a third-inning rally to take the lead for good.
Sterling’s run came in the top of the second on steal of home.
Hydro responded with 2 runs in the bottom of the third. Macey Buss hit a 1-out single to right field to get thing started. Two batters later, Rees Berkey reached base on an error. Tessa York singled to right field and Buss scored. Parker reached base on an error and Berkey scored. It was 2-1 Hydro.
