20 years ago Remembering the ice storm of 2002

This day 20 years ago we continued to produce a daily newspaper with no electricity. The ice storm broke hundreds of power lines across Oklahoma and left the town of Weatherford without power for a full week and many in the countryside out for more than a month. Luckily generators and battery backup devices are keeping many businesses and households up and going these days. Not so 20 years ago…
