During the regular meeting of the Weatherford Public School Board of Education, Superintendent Jill Henderson gave her first monthly report.

Henderson said the district projects are on schedule, and the finances are in good shape for the current fiscal year.

She said there have been talks regarding the demolition of the track and field house and concession stand at Woody Roof Field. In addition, the football turf and track should be ready before the respective seasons begin. However, heavy rains could cause delays.

New student enrollment is 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. August 3 at the Weatherford High School Library. Information about current student enrollment will be available at a later date. School supply lists are available on the WPS and school site Facebook pages.
