Route 66 Antiques, owned by Charlotte Perry and Chris and Sandra Watson, hosted its grand opening this week.

Route 66 Antiques, located just off Interstate 40 along Airport Road, features several vendor booths with a large variety of handmade items, collectibles and antiques.

Vendor Dana Osborn has been collecting antiques for less than a year. She said, “I always like antiques. I have a few of them in my home, but this is new to me.”

Other vendors at Route 66 Antiques include Tip and Lana Farris, Deanna Hill, Willis Jones, Tammy Perkins, Tom and Deeann Roberts, Vicky Gilliland, Pam Coe, Debbie Crawl, Louis Windberry, Jerry and Pam Frazier, Ann Russell, Debbie Ellis, Celia Marshall, Linda Lau and Andrea Unruh.

The vendors put in a lot of time and effort to find unique pieces for their booths. Some are old, some are new, some are handmade and some have been repurposed.

Route 66 Antiques now is open. Their hours are 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
