The Weatherford High School Theatre II students virtually competed in the Oklahoma Secondary School Activity Association State 5A One-Act Competition Friday, with results available Tuesday.
The team qualified during the regional competition last weekend with their adaption of “The Raven” by Edgar Allen Poe.
Senior Chase Dawson also was one of eight named as an All-Star cast member for Western Oklahoma.
The Theatre II class is taught by Ashby de la Plaine.

Music was provided by students Jeston Laney, Karly Brooks, Kayla Stutzman, June Parker and Emma Quisenberry. Other funeral march members were Cadence Dowty, Owen Brown, Jesus Salais and Tasha Tillman.
Stage lighting and management was provided by Emma Quisenberry. Sound was managed by Ruth Asante. Makeup was done by Tasha Tillman. Costumes were provided courtesy of Southwest Playhouse in Clinton.
