Robert Duree
Funeral services for Robert Anthony Duree, 58-year-old Weatherford resident, will be 2 p.m.
Saturday, April 6, 2024, in Calvary Baptist Church, in Weatherford, with David Corlee officiating. Burial will follow in Simpson Cemetery, in Sterling, under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.
Robert was born July 9, 1965, in Oklahoma City, to Buster and Patricia Kathleen (Miller) Duree and passed away Sunday, March 31, 2024, at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City.
Robert was raised and attended school in Colony and later graduated from Washita Heights High School.
After graduation, he enlisted in the National Guard. Robert worked at 3-M from 1985-99.
October 25, 2000, he married Courtney Friesen in Arapaho.
Robert worked for Unit Drilling as a roughneck from 1999-2020. He was currently working for Custer County District 3. Robert enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time with family and friends; and showing pigs with his daughter.
Survivors include: his wife of 23 years, Courtney Duree, of their home in Weatherford; mother, Kathy Miller, of Oklahoma City; father, Buster Charles Duree, of Oklahoma City; three daughters, Ashley Kessinger, Emily Friesen and Grace Duree, all of Weatherford; four sons, Matthew Duree, of Oklahoma City, Travis Duree, of Weatherford.
Dakota Duree, of Stroud, and Josh Duree, of Weatherford; one sister, Sherry Kendall of McLoud; and six grandchildren.
