It is with great sadness the Stafford Air and Space Museum announces the passing of its namesake, Lt. Gen. Thomas P. Stafford (Ret.). Gen. Stafford passed away March 18, 2024, in Indian Harbor, Florida. General Stafford was 93.

We became good friend as juniors at Weatherford High School. He was a great friend to every one .
